For the MC310 Direct To Card Printer, Matica EDISecure chromXpert YMCKO Color Ribbon (PR20307301) has undergone extensive quality testing to ensure that it will perform as promised. The multilingual information on the type, part number, and storage requirements for the MC310 Direct To Card Printer is plainly readable on the color or black ribbon packing. On your retransfer film, which is applied to the plastic ID cards, it will consistently print in high-quality black or color with a glossy, polished appearance. The thermal transfer K-Black panel and color panels, which can reproduce up to 16.7 million vibrant colors, guarantee the printing of sharp text and barcodes. The printed information on the card is shielded and made to last by the varnish-type overlay panel. When the color components (portrait photo or color logo artwork) are consistently placed on the same card position and similar size, this YMCKO ribbon is ideal for printing on PVC card material. On the front and/or reverse of the card, the black information can be printed in resin K-Black.

For automatic ribbon detection in the MC310 printer, the YMCKO ribbon has an RFID tag built in. The MC310 automatically sets the ideal printer parameters after identifying the relevant RFID tag to provide the highest printing quality at all times. To prohibit the use of unauthorized ribbons, which could damage the printer and deliver subpar print quality, the inbuilt RFID tag can also be programmed with a special client or project code.
