YMCK ribbons are ribbons for full-color printing, in which the color components:

Y – Yellow color panel

M – Magenta color panel

C – Cyan color panel

K – Black resin panel are strung together.

The full spectrum of colors is printed on the card by means of thermal sublimation from the stacked three colors. The black zone (K) is intended for the defined printing of texts or barcodes by means of transfer printing. Multi-colored graphics, logos, photos and texts can be printed on plastic cards using this printing technique.
